Yes, we’ve finally launched our new-for-2009 facelifted website. We've rolled out v2.1 of CAR Online – a gently fettled, spruced-up version of your favourite motoring website. We’ve redesigned the site in harmony with the new-look CAR Magazine, so there’s a more sophisticated colour palette, new-look CAR logo branding and tidied-up layouts on most pages.
A new series of Fifth Gear starts tonight with Vicki B-H racing a French Jet in a new Porsche Boxster S, Jason Plato testing the new Audi S8 & Jonny in the Ford Focus ST. Those nice people at Fifth Gear have been in touch asking if we’d like to run trailer information for the new Fifth Gear Series, just as we do for Top Gear. Why not, we thought?
Automotive design students from all over the world gathered in Maranello this week for the award ceremony of the 'Ferrari - New Concepts of the Myth' design competition. The winners were announced and awarded their prizes at Galleria Ferrari, within walking distance of Ferrari headquarters and Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The coveted prizes are six months of exciting and very demanding work at Ferrari and Pininfarina creative centres, under the leadership of Ferrari's Donato Coco (in Maranello) and Pininfarina's Ken Okuyama (in Torino).
